Manufacturer-independent device support for all common automation systems
The basis is always a repository. It acts as a central directory for all digital objects. It supports approval workflows for release and, depending on the expansion level, enables versions and revisions to be managed, backups to be managed, new backups to be created and the backup history for devices to be checked.
VERSIONING MODULE
Upon request, data is versioned, providing users with information on the latest version, as well as WHO, WHEN, WHAT, WHERE, and WHY changes were made.

The versioning module (repository) of eguide4DATA offers you a flexible solution for manufacturer-independent management of automation projects and documents. It automatically captures all changes and seamlessly integrates manufacturer editors such as Siemens Step7 Manager, Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCat, and Mitsubishi GX Works. Additionally, the module supports users with an approval and notification workflow and can be used both independently and in combination with other eguide4DATA modules.

BACK UP & IMAGE MODULE
Enables the creation of automated cyclical disaster recovery-capable backups/images of your automation devices and PCs. With online/offline comparison, as well as backup to previous backups and alarm function.

The eguide4DATA Backup and Image Module automates the backup of controllers, robots, HMI/Scada systems, PCs, frequency converters, and more. It checks the current device status against the server status and reports differences (code, parameters, hardware, etc.) via email alarm. This manufacturer-independent solution supports devices such as Siemens TIA Portal, Siemens S7 Classic, Beckhoff Twincat, and Codesys, among many others. The comparison of online and offline status ensures that production only occurs with the approved status.
